Howdy!!

I am pleased to finally get this Blog going!
My name is Bea and I live here in the community of MONTECITO. 

YES, WE DO EXIST (Google doesn't believe me!)
I wanted to start a Blog to share community information around our "neck of the woods".  
 
We tend to hear bits and pieces about fires, mailboxes, wildlife, vegetation, and safety concerns.  I wanted a place to put it all together and COMMUNICATE about our MONTECITO neighborhood.  

I will double check incoming information before I post.  Click on the pictures to get further details.

The meaning of the term, Montecito, comes from Spanish and is separated into two ideas.  "Monte" (mountain, mount), combined with the diminutive suffix of "cito" or "little".  

We, therefore, live in the "little Mountain" area. 

I am out and about, so when you see me, give me a shout!

IM OLD, but I ain't stupid!   I intentionally created a new email address, for this site, and they are verifying (suspicious), I guess!  I've sent an email to them indicating that they can "figure out my age by what I've already posted.")
